Online WEBINAR

Developing a reliable and sustainable supply of native seed is a major challenge for ecological restoration. In this presentation we will review current research and best practices surrounding the establishment of seed transfer zones and seed farming methods. Seed transfer zones and seed farming are important tools for guiding the use of and increasing availability of seed for effective seed-based  restoration.  This presentation is intended to serve as an introduction that will provide a broad overview on these topics.

Naomi Fraga PhD is Director of Conservation Programs at California Botanic Garden in Claremont, home of the California Seed Bank, the largest seed bank dedicated to California native plants.
