From Noon to 5 PM CalBG's Bird & Butterfly Garden and Outdoor Classroom will be filled with fun, featuring bilingual Spanish/English activities and classes led by CalBG staff and our event partners from Tri-City Mental Health, Chino Basin Water Conservation District, Inland Empire Resource Conservation District, Environmental Nature Center, dA Center for the Arts, and Uncommon Good.

12:30-1:30pm - Bird & Butterfly Garden Plant Walk

1:30-3pm: Family Story Time with De Colores from the dA Center for the Arts

3:30-5pm: Waterwise Loteria with the Chino Basin Water Conservation District

12-5pm: Community partners tabling with small activities and info such as creating native plant herb sachets, CA native plants great for tea, and passport CA native plant zine for the plant walk.

From Saturday, September 14 to Sunday September 22 Latine Conservation Week provides families and youth with outdoor programming ranging from hiking and camping to community roundtables and film screenings to celebrate conservation, culture, and comunidad and spark conversations on climate change, health, and other challenges that impact the lives of Latines nationwide.
