Celebrate the end of summer and the start of the school year at CalBG! Drink craft brews from Old Stump Brewing Co., eat savory biscuit snacks from Crème Bakery, listen to music curated by our friends at Floating, and learn about beer brewing in a special talk from Andy Dale (Last Name Brewing) all in the shady Forest Pavilion at CalBG. (Please note: our originally scheduled talk, "The Dinosaur in my Beer," has been cancelled due to illness).

This month's musical guests are DTIG: aLos Angeles based ensemble led by Drew Taubenfeld and Isaiah Gage, joined by Ben Jaffe and Jordan Gatz. Handmade with the desire to reconnect with music as a medium for human earnestness and connectedness, the project combines Pedal Steel, Cello, Nylon String Guitar, Trumpet, clarinet , piano and drums to create its own unique bouquet of sound. Blending elements of Americana, Chamber music, folk music and pop, DTIG seeks to contribute a hopeful spirit into the pantheon of instrumental music.
