Yoga Half-Day Retreat: Creating Space & Setting Intentions for the New Year

Join us for a Half-Day Yoga Retreat led by Sarah Sawyer, certified yoga instructor, where you will focus on Creating Space and Setting Intentions for the new year in the backdrop of the scenic botanic garden.

During the retreat we will take time to breathe, meditate, visualize/journal, and move our bodies, while reflecting on how we can incorporate what we have discovered into the year ahead. After a morning of reflection, you are welcome to explore the gardens more on your own or allow yourself to slowly ease back into your normal routine with a more focused intent. 

What to Bring

Bring your yoga mat, water, sunscreen, and hat.  Please dress in layers so you can bundle up or get more comfortable.  If you would like any blankets or pillows, feel free to bring them, as we will be relaxing in our space for periods of time while we visualize/journal, meditate, and focus on breathwork.  You may also bring some snacks that can be enjoyed during the retreat.

The instructor will provide resources for the visualization/journaling portion of the retreat, and will provide oranges, fruit, and small snacks to enjoy during the session. The instructor will also have a few extra props available on a first come first serve basis for those who may need them during the movement portion of the retreat.  If the weather is chilly, we will have heaters available to accommodate a more comfortable temperature.
