Art journaling is a dynamic and personal creative practice that merges visual art with written expression in a journal format. Unlike traditional journaling, which primarily relies on written words, or sketchbooks, which focus on drawing, art journaling embraces a fusion of imagery, texture, color, and text to create pages that reflect personal narratives, artistic experiments, or spontaneous self-expression. Some pages may include poetry, affirmations, quotes, or handwritten reflections, while others may be purely visual, driven by color, shapes, and layered materials.
