Collage is a flexible, forgiving art form—there’s no right or wrong way to do it! Enjoy the process and let your creativity lead the way.

This workshop is about getting your hands moving and your head out of the way. By following a set of simple yet flexible steps—without being tied to a specific outcome—you will discover what works best for you and what doesn’t. Most importantly, you will come away from this experience with the understanding that it’s not about the final product; it’s about play.

Students will build a visual vocabulary by creating collage art. Once they have learned the basics, they will gain the ability to compose a well-executed, cohesive, and visually engaging collage.
