Fly, hop, waddle or soar to the Garden for the Family Bird Festival. Enjoy a day outdoors with hands-on experiences and educational opportunities for young beginners and bird enthusiasts alike, presented in partnership with Pomona Valley Bird Alliance. Highlights include fun bird crafts, an immersive migration game, bird-themed storytime, booths from local bird organizations, and more! Grab a treat, stay for lunch, and get involved with some community science at the Great Backyard Bird Count stations scattered throughout the Garden.
Community organizations include: Pomona Valley Bird Alliance, San Dimas Canyon Nature Center, Wild Bird Unlimited, Friends of California Condors Wild & Free, International Bird Rescue, Ortiz Lab CalPoly Pomona Urban Wildlife Conservation Education, San Bernardino County Museum, and Los Angeles Catio Tour.
Food trucks include: Yummy Bird and The Chubby Corn
