Celebrate Bird Month at the Garden by joining clay artists from the American Museum of Ceramic Art to build your own bird!
A collaboration in tandem with AMOCA’s latest exhibition, SoCal Critters, enjoy a day with friends and family while hand sculpting your own air-dry clay bird to take home right in time for the Family Bird Festival the following day!
Be sure to stop by AMOCA after as your ticket grants you free admission to the museum to check out SoCal Critters, which pays homage to the whimsical ceramic animals sculpted by Howard Pierce throughout his career. You’ll see familiar critters like cats and rabbits as well as wildlife native to our home in Pomona like coyotes and quails; celebrate our local wildlife and learn more about conservation efforts to protect our animal neighbors!
Instruction and all materials are included.
Adults, children, and families are welcome in this workshop. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
